The Canobie Ramblers of today result from a mixture of many people that have played at
Canobie Lake Amusement Park over the years.

The original group started in 1979 and was called the Sing-A-Long Strings.
There were three banjo players that strolled through the park every Saturday and Sunday afternoon;
Bob Coffill (leader), Ed Dubreuil, and Art Dufault.  They also entertained at Ed’s Banjo Pub in Tyngsborough, MA.
As their popularity spread, the amusement park expanded, and
